The P450 Guide 2nd Edition by Brown & Griffiths is an extensive list of medications which utilize the cytochrome P450 system. The guide indicates medications which inhibit specific cytochrome P450 enzymes. Lidocaine utilizes the cytochrome 1A2 and 3A4 systems. The guide was published in 2000.
We recommend that you become an active member of the largest society representing cosmetic specialists from all medical and surgical backgrounds. They offer great resources for continuing education. A large percentage of AACS members are ISCG members.
EIB has been insuring ISCG graduates in cosmetic procedures such as abdominoplasty, liposuction, and breast augmentation in most states for several years. The Prime Insurance Company is their main insurer for these procedures.
