Learn to perform vaginoplasty without an assistant.
Dependence on an assistant is a major bottleneck in vaginal surgery. Dr. Marco Pelosi III developed Zone Vaginoplasty in 2016 specifically to overcome it and has used the approach reliably and consistently ever since.
The technique organizes the operation into four anatomical zones, each with defined exposure, retractor settings and surgical tasks. This structured approach allows the surgeon to progress through the operation without an assistant.

Curriculum
The defining operations of cosmetic gynecology.
The March 2027 program combines surgical lectures with hands-on cadaver training in vaginal, perineal, vulvar and mons surgery, including Zone Vaginoplasty, monsplasty, fat transfer and surgical laser techniques.
Vaginoplasty and perineoplasty
- Perineoplasty and vaginoplasty.
- Cystocele and rectocele.
- Injury repairs and revision techniques.
- Hymenoplasty.
Study the operative principles in the didactic sessions, then work through the hands-on surgery with faculty guidance.
Labiaplasty and clitoral hood reduction
- Labia minora reduction (labiaplasty).

The faculty teach each operative step and provide technical guidance as trainees perform it at their cadaver stations.
Fat harvesting and labia majora augmentation
- Fat harvesting for volume augmentation.

Fat transfer lectures support the hands-on sessions, where the faculty guide trainees through the operative steps.
Monsplasty and cesarean apron management

Surgical lasers
Laser teaching draws on the faculty’s postgraduate laser education, gynecologic laser experience and international research and training background.
The Day 1 agenda includes a dedicated surgical laser lecture followed by a cadaver session.
Every trainee performs labiaplasty, clitoral hood contouring, perineoplasty, vaginoplasty, labia majora reduction and fat transfer, mons pubis liposuction, and monsplasty. Hymenoplasty is covered in the teaching materials but is not performed by trainees during the hands-on sessions.

Marco Antonio Pelosi III, MD, FACOG, FACS, FICS, FAACS
Course Director
Dr. Pelosi is an American board-certified gynecologist and postgraduate-trained cosmetic surgeon whose work has helped shape modern cosmetic gynecology. He is co-founder and President of the International Society of Cosmetogynecology, established in 2004 with Marco Antonio Pelosi II, MD.
He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific publications and delivered over 900 invited presentations worldwide. His expertise spans aesthetic and functional female genital surgery, liposuction, abdominoplasty and aesthetic breast surgery.
As a surgical innovator and international educator, he teaches surgeons how to translate complex operations into practical, reproducible techniques. At this course, he teaches his complete Zone Vaginoplasty operation and monsplasty technique hands-on, emphasizing surgical safety, technical precision and consistent results.
He has also served as a Trustee of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and as Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology for the United States Section of the International College of Surgeons.
Jorge E. Gaviria, MD
Course Faculty
Dr. Gaviria is a cosmetic gynecologist with extensive experience in gynecologic lasers. He trained in cosmetic gynecology through ISCG under Marco Pelosi II and Marco Pelosi III, becoming an ISCG Fellow in 2012.
His education includes a medical degree from the University of Los Andes, specialist training in gynecology and obstetrics at the Venezuelan Red Cross, aesthetic medicine education and postgraduate laser medicine training at Catalunya Polytechnic University in Barcelona.
He holds American Board of Laser Surgery certification in medical aesthetics and gynecologic laser and surgical procedures. A Fotona researcher and trainer since 2010, he has lectured in more than 44 countries and received international awards, including two Teaching Excellence Awards.
At the course: He delivers laser and fat transfer lectures and guides trainees through the hands-on surgeries alongside the course director.

Dr. Pelosi II co-founded both the course and the International Society of Cosmetogynecology. He has retired from active instruction but often attends to share his experience and wisdom with participants.

Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is the nearest airport listed for the course. Miami International Airport (MIA) is another option. Airport transfers are not provided.

Is transportation to the training facility included?
Yes. A shuttle bus provides daily roundtrip transportation between Renaissance Fort Lauderdale West and the training facility on both course days. Service is not provided from other hotels. Airport transfers are not included.
Can I attend the cadaver course and the World Congress on the same trip?
Yes. The March 30–31, 2027 cadaver course is immediately followed by the ISCG World Congress on April 1–3, 2027. Congress registration is separate from course tuition.
